Pause

You can find Pause over at No. 22/12 on Vittal Mallya Road. It’s a well-known street, so getting here isn't too difficult for most people. We’ve been here for a bit now, running this little spot. It’s not a giant warehouse or a corporate office with a lobby. It’s a place where we just do what we do. We don’t really go in for the whole high-pressure sales thing or fancy corporate talk that you see elsewhere. We just have our doors open and see who comes in to look around. The atmosphere is generally pretty relaxed, which I guess fits the name quite well. We spend our days managing the space and making sure everything looks alright for visitors. Vittal Mallya Road has its own vibe, and we just try to be a part of it. It’s a lot of small tasks that add up—cleaning up, checking the stock, talking to whoever walks through the door. We don't have a big team of people in suits. It’s just a few of us who like being here and doing this work. Some days are busier than others, especially on the weekends when people are out and about, but we just take it as it comes. We don't have any grand plans to expand everywhere or open ten more shops. We just like our little corner of the city and the people who stop by to see us. It’s a nice way to spend the week.
