Most days here at Patil N B in Ganganagar start pretty early. We usually unlock the door around nine and the first thing I do is get the dust off the counters. It’s a small place, nothing fancy, but it works for what we need to do. People in the neighborhood know where we are, right here in 41456, and they often stop by just to say hello or ask a quick question about something. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the desk is cluttered with old notebooks and a few pens that don't always work, but it feels like home. We’ve been at this address for a while now. Sometimes the afternoon gets quiet when the sun is really hitting the front window, and that’s when I catch up on the paperwork that piles up. It’s not a big corporate operation or anything like that. It is just me and a couple of others trying to keep things moving. We handle the daily tasks as they come, nothing too complicated. If someone calls, we pick up if we aren't busy with someone standing right in front of us. Ganganagar is a decent place to be based. You get to know the regulars and the delivery guys. It’s just a normal way to spend the day, really. Nothing too exciting happens most weeks, but we like the routine of being here and keeping the doors open for whoever needs us.
