If you are looking for the Jyothi Shalaya, you have to go to Mathikere and find the first floor of the building at number 20 on M S Ramiah College Road. It is right there where all the students are always walking around. Pandith Srikanth Rao Ganachari is the name on the small board. I have been sitting in this office for a long time now, looking at charts and talking to people about their lives. The room is not very big, but it has enough space for a couple of chairs and my desk where I keep all the old calendars and notebooks. It gets quite loud outside with all the traffic from the college road, but we manage just fine. People come from all over the city, not just from Mathikere. Some are worried about their jobs and others want to know about when their kids will get married. I don't use any fancy computers for the main work, just the old ways that I learned.
