Pandit Sunil Tiwari

Living and working in Vivek Nagar is something I’ve gotten used to over the years. My place is right on 20 Cross Road, not far from the Sriram Mandir Main Road. Being at number 16 means I’m right in the middle of everything, which can be a bit noisy sometimes with the traffic, but I don’t mind it much. I am Pandit Sunil Tiwari and I’ve been handling all sorts of religious work for the families around this area for quite a while. Most of my day is spent either at home preparing or out at someone’s house for a ceremony. The Sriram Mandir is a big landmark here, so it’s easy for people to find their way to me. I don’t really do any big marketing or anything like that. I just do my work and then someone tells their neighbor about me, and that’s how it goes. I’ve seen kids grow up and then come back to me for their own weddings or house blessings. It makes me feel like a real part of Vivek Nagar. The 20 Cross Road area is a good spot because people are friendly and they look out for each other. I keep my materials ready at number 16 so I can leave at a moment's notice if someone has an urgent need for a prayer or a consultation. It is a busy life but I enjoy being here on the main road.
