Pandit P H Rao

I go by P H Rao. My workspace is situated on the 80 Feet Road in Basaveshwara Nagar, specifically in the KHB Colony at numbers 52 and 53. It is a large enough space for what I do. Being on such a major road means there is always a lot of movement outside. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, so I’m always wiping down my shelves. I’ve been here in this colony for quite a long time. People around here know the address well. I don’t do much advertising. Mostly, it’s just me sitting here and waiting for whoever needs help with their rituals or advice. The room is filled with old books and a few photos on the walls. It’s a bit cluttered, but I know where everything is. My chair is old and a bit squeaky, but it’s comfortable for long days. I usually start quite early, around 6 am, and finish up when it gets dark. The 80 Feet Road is loud, but inside the colony, it stays a bit calmer. I’ve seen the trees outside grow tall over the years I’ve been sitting here. It’s a simple existence. I don’t try to be anything I’m not. I just do the work that was taught to me. If someone knocks, I’m usually around to answer.
