We are over at 61 Patel House on 2Nd Cross in the Manjunatha Layout. This part of Arekere, right off Bannerghatta Road, is where we spend our days. It’s a typical Bangalore neighborhood, with a mix of houses and small businesses. Our office is on the 2nd floor, and it’s a pretty simple setup. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights. Oracle India Pvt Ltd Bangalore is just the name on our documents. On the inside, it’s just a group of regular people sitting at their desks. Bannerghatta Road is always a mess with the metro construction and the traffic, but once we get into the office, it’s a lot quieter. We have a routine that works for us. We start early to beat some of the congestion and finish up in the evening. There’s a small balcony where some of us go to get a bit of fresh air during the day. We don't use corporate jargon or have long, boring meetings. If there is a problem, we just talk it out over a cup of tea. It’s a practical environment. We have our computers and our files, and that’s about it. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We just want to do our work well and go home. It’s a decent place to work, and we’ve become quite a tight group over the years.
