Om Sri Kalpatharu Joythisyalaya

Our place is right here in Malleshwaram at No 72. It is a busy part of town but we like it. Usually, the morning starts with cleaning the front area and lighting a few lamps. You can hear the traffic from the main road all day long, but inside it stays a bit quieter. We have been at this spot for a while now. Most people who come in are locals from around the neighborhood. They stop by when they have things on their mind. We sit down and talk through the charts and see what the stars are doing. There is no big fancy waiting room or anything like that. Just some plastic chairs and a desk covered in papers and books. The walls are painted a light color that is starting to fade a bit near the window. We spend a lot of time looking at old calendars and writing things down by hand. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a break for a few minutes. It is a simple way of working. We do not have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the rituals and the calculations. When the sun goes down, the street gets even louder with people going home from work. We usually stay open until the last person leaves. It is not a corporate setup, just a local spot where people feel they can talk. That is how we have always done things here.
