Ochre Technology

At Ochre Technology, we work out of a place in Rajajinagar. Aradhana Singh is based here at 227, 1st Main, 2nd Cross in the 3rd Phase of Manjunathnagar. Bangalore is full of tech companies, but we are just a small outfit operating out of a regular building. It’s a quiet street for the most part, though you get the usual city sounds throughout the day. The office is basically a few rooms filled with computers and whiteboards that are covered in scribbles and diagrams. We aren't the kind of place with bean bags and a foosball table; we just have comfortable chairs because we spend a lot of time sitting in front of screens. We don't really have a big public-facing front, as most of our work is done behind the scenes. Sometimes the local power cuts happen, and we all just wait it out or switch to laptops until the electricity comes back on. It’s a very typical Bangalore tech worker life, where we drink too much tea and talk about code or hardware until late in the evening. We don't have a fancy website with a lot of marketing jargon; we just focus on the technical tasks that our clients give us. It’s a small, dedicated group and we’ve been working together long enough to know how each other thinks. We just take things one day at a time and try to solve the problems that land on our desks.
