About Nayan Drugs Andopticals – Pharmaceuticals in Bangalore
We’ve been here at Rajajinagar 121 for quite a while now. Most people around the block know us just by seeing the sign when they walk past on their way to the market. It’s a bit of a mix here because we handle both medicines and glasses. Sometimes it gets a little crowded when someone is trying on frames while someone else is waiting for a prescription to be filled, but we manage just fine. We have those rows of shelves with all the usual bottles and boxes you’d expect in a pharmacy. On the other side, there are the displays for the spectacles. We aren't a big fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a regular shop where you can come in if you’ve got a cold or if your old glasses finally snapped. I spend most of my day chatting with the regulars who live nearby. Some people come in just to ask a quick question about their eye test results they got from the doctor. The lighting inside is a bit bright, which helps when you're looking at those tiny screws on the glasses frames. We try to keep things organized, but on busy Mondays, the counter gets covered in notes and order slips. The floor near the entrance is a bit worn down from everyone coming in, but that's what happens over the years. It’s a local spot, nothing more. We see the same faces every week, and that’s how we like it. Just doing the work and keeping the shop open until the evening when the street gets quiet.
