My legal office is at 130 Avenue Road, in the Zaverivad section of Ratanpol. This is a very old part of the city and it is incredibly crowded every single day. The office is situated in a building that has seen better days, but it has a lot of character. Inside, I have a large wooden desk that is almost always covered in law books, case files, and loose papers. There is no air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that hums loudly as it spins. The walls are lined with old shelves that hold decades of legal records. It is a very simple and traditional setup. Most of my day is spent reading through legal documents or meeting with clients who come in with various problems. The noise from the market outside is constant—people bargaining, horns honking, and the general bustle of Ratanpol. I don't have a receptionist or any fancy computer systems. I prefer to do things the old-fashioned way with a pen and a notepad. It is a very busy area, so getting here can take some time if you are driving. I have been practicing here for a long time and I know the local courts and the other lawyers well. It is not a glamorous job, but it is steady work that keeps me busy from morning till night. Most of my clients are people from the nearby streets.
