You can find Multilinks Telkom Limited over at Flat No 110 in New Kundan Pura, which is in Gali No 1 of Kumbalagodu. It is a regular residential building where we have set up our small office. The area is still developing, so there is often some dust from the construction nearby, but it is a quiet enough place to work. We deal with telecom stuff, so our desks are usually covered in technical manuals and various bits of hardware. It’s not a big corporate headquarters. It’s more like a small group of people working together in a converted flat. We have a kitchen where we make coffee and take our breaks, and we usually just chat about the day’s work. There is no big hierarchy here; we all just pitch in and do what needs to be done. Whether it is answering a support call or sorting out a billing issue, we handle it as it comes. We don't have a big sign on the building, so people usually have to look for the flat number. It’s a humble way to run a telecom business, but it suits us. We like being out in Kumbalagodu away from the main city chaos. We just focus on keeping the connections running and getting through our pile of daily tasks before heading home to our families. It’s a simple, honest workday for all of us.
