We’ve been here at Kartik Nivas for quite some time now. If you know Jeevan Bima Nagar, you know how the 10th Main can get pretty busy during the day. Our spot is at No 500, right on the 7th Cross. It’s a decent building, nothing too fancy, but it gets the job done for us. Most of us here have grown used to the sounds of the neighborhood. You can hear the milk delivery early in the morning and the traffic starts picking up around eight. The stairs are a bit steep if you aren't used to them, but the office inside is cozy enough. We have some desks, a few computers, and a small area where we keep the kettle for tea. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains heavy in Bangalore, which happens more often than we'd like. People around here know us as the folks who work in the big house on the corner. We don't really have a big sign or anything flashy outside. It's mostly just us doing our daily tasks and trying to get home before the evening rush hour makes the roads impossible. We spend a lot of time just chatting about local things while we handle the work. It’s a quiet life mostly. We've got some good neighbors who’ve been in the area for years, and we try not to make too much noise when we're coming and going. That's pretty much who we are.
