We are located on the first floor in N R Colony, which is one of the older neighborhoods in Bangalore. It has a lot of character that you don't find in the newer tech hubs. Our address is right in the middle of a very busy area. The traffic on the nearby Bull Temple Road can be quite a mess during the mornings, so most of us try to get in early or use the local buses. The building we are in is quite old and doesn't have an elevator, but since we are on the first floor, it’s not much of a climb. The rooms have high ceilings and large windows, which lets in a lot of light, but also a fair amount of street noise. We can often hear the temple bells or the sounds of the local market nearby. Bangalore’s weather is usually a plus, so we can leave the windows open for most of the year instead of using the AC. There are plenty of places to get great filter coffee just around the corner, and we take full advantage of that. The office itself is pretty basic. We’ve got some old wooden desks and chairs that have been around for years. It’s a cozy spot, even if the floorboards creak a little when you walk over certain spots. It feels like part of the neighborhood rather than just an office building.
