Maraa

Maraa is based in New Thippasandra at Vastral 3. It’s a vibrant neighborhood with lots of shops and houses all mixed together. Our space is more like a workshop or a community room than a typical corporate office. We have chairs that don't match and a big table in the middle where we do most of our work together. The walls have some posters and notes pinned to them. We don't have a boss in a separate room; we all just sit together and figure out what to do. There is usually some music playing in the background, something low and mellow. We spend a lot of time talking to each other and people who visit us from the street. It’s a very open place. We have a small stove where we make our own tea and sometimes share a meal if we are staying late. The floor is made of stone and it stays cool even when it’s hot outside. We don't have a lot of fancy technology, just what we need to get by. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so we often walk to the office. It’s a very local feel. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just like having a space where we can be creative and get things done without someone breathing down our necks. It is a simple, honest way to spend the day.
