Mangala Jewellers

Mangala Jewellers is located on Cubbonpet Main Road, right at the 15th Cross, number 157. It’s a small shop, but we’ve got a lot packed into the counters. Mostly, it’s just us sitting here waiting for neighbors to drop in. People come in to look at rings or maybe get a chain fixed. We don’t have those bright, blinding lights you see in the mall. It’s more of a quiet place where you can actually hear yourself think. The 15th Cross gets pretty crowded on the weekends with people doing their shopping. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass and making sure everything looks decent. It’s not just about selling things; it’s about being part of the street. We know the people who walk past every morning. Sometimes someone will bring in an old piece of gold that’s been in their family for ages. It’s interesting to see what people value. We keep a ledger on the counter to track everything. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. My hands are usually busy with a small tool or a polishing cloth. We don’t have a website or anything like that because we prefer talking to folks face-to-face. If you’re ever near Cubbonpet, you’ll see our sign. We’re usually there from morning until the shops start closing up for the night. We've been here long enough that the regulars don't even need to ask our hours.
