Mahavigna Jyotisya Karyalaya

Our little office is located at Akshar Chowk, number 6, right in the heart of Cottonpet. Mahavigna Jyotisya Karyalaya has been here for a while, and the neighborhood has changed a lot around us. We have a small sign outside, but most people find us just by knowing the area. The room is filled with books and old papers that have been collected over many years. It has a specific smell, like old parchment and a bit of incense from the morning. We don't have fancy computers or modern furniture. There is just a wooden table and a few mats for people to sit on. It is a quiet place despite the noise from the chowk outside. We spend a lot of time reading and writing things down by hand. It feels more personal that way. People come and go throughout the day, looking for a bit of clarity or just someone to talk to about their concerns. We listen and do our work without rushing anyone. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the window, so we have to move the books around. It is an honest place where we don't try to be anything we aren't. We just give people a place to sit and talk through their things in the middle of a busy city. Cottonpet is our home, and we are content with the simple life we have built here at number 6.
