I spend most of my time at the office here near Ananda Rao Circle. My name is Mahanthesh Hosmath S and I work as an advocate. Being located at Sakinaka 19 means I am right in the middle of a lot of activity. The office is not very big, just enough room for my books, some chairs for visitors, and my desk which is usually covered in legal documents. I have been practicing law for a good number of years now. Every day is different. Some mornings I am rushing off to court, and other afternoons I am stuck here reading through old case files or drafting new ones. It can be a bit stressful when deadlines are tight, but that is the nature of the legal profession. People come to me when they have problems they can't solve on their own. I listen to their stories and try to figure out what the best step is according to the law. It’s a lot of reading and a lot of talking. The area around Ananda Rao Circle is always humming with traffic and people, which I’ve grown used to. I don't have a big staff helping me out, so I handle most of the details myself. It keeps me busy from early morning until late in the evening. I just take things one day at a time and try to keep my files in order. It’s honest work and I’m glad to be doing it here.
