Lab Instructor Asistant System Administrator

I hold a couple of different roles here at No 55A on 10 D Cross in Balaji Nagar. Being both a Lab Instructor and an Assistant System Administrator means I’m basically the person everyone calls when something stops working. We are located in B S K 2nd Stage, which is a decent area but the traffic on the main road is always a nightmare. My office is basically a closet filled with servers and old monitors. I spend my mornings helping people understand the systems and my afternoons fixing the servers that crashed. It’s a lot of walking back and forth between rooms. I’ve got cables tucked into my pockets and a permanent headache from the fluorescent lights. The furniture is mismatched, and my chair squeaks every time I move. I’m not complaining, though; it’s just how things are. I like the challenge of a system that won’t boot up. People think I’m some kind of wizard, but really I just read the manuals and try things until they work. The local shops nearby have good coffee, which is what keeps me going through the long shifts. Sometimes I stay late just to finish the updates when nobody else is around to distract me. It’s a quiet time then. This place isn't perfect, and the internet cuts out more than it should, but we make it work somehow. It’s a lot of responsibility for one person, but I manage to keep things running.
