Lab Assistant In Vemana I T

Working as a Lab Assistant at Vemana I T means I spend most of my life on the 19th Main in Nandini Layout. My spot is at No 330, and if you come by, you’ll see me surrounded by computers and cables. It’s a lot of troubleshooting and making sure the students don't break the hardware. I’ve been here long enough that I know which machines have a temper and which ones work fine. Nandini Layout is a busy part of town, but once you get inside the lab, it’s just the hum of the fans. I don’t really do much besides fixing errors and setting up the software for the next class. It can be exhausting when thirty people are asking for help at once. I usually have a half-eaten lunch on my desk because I rarely get a full break. The building itself is older, and sometimes the air conditioning struggles during the summer. I don't mind it too much though. I like the routine of opening up in the morning and shutting everything down at night. My workspace is a mess of manuals and spare parts, but I know where everything is. It’s a practical job. No one is here for the decor; they just want their code to run. I make sure that happens. It’s what I do every day, five days a week, and sometimes on Saturdays too. It’s not high-tech living, but it is necessary for the students.
