We’ve been here at the Oriental Building on MG Road for quite some time now. Dealing with the office work and the day-to-day things that come through this branch keeps us pretty busy. It’s an old building, but it has a lot of history and everyone around here knows where it is. Mostly, we just handle the paperwork and help the folks who walk in off the street with their questions. It’s not a flashy setup, just desks and files and people trying to get their business sorted out. The location is central, which makes it easy for people to drop by, though parking can be a real headache sometimes. We just focus on getting things done right. Every morning we open up, check the mail, and start on the folders that piled up. It's steady work. Some of us have worked here for years and know the regulars by name. MG Road is always noisy, but once you step inside, it’s just the usual office routine. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that, just making sure the records are straight and people get the information they need. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and keep moving through the stack of papers on the desks. That's how it goes for us. We're just a small part of the bigger picture, doing our bit every day in this busy city corner.
