We’ve been here at Bearys Horizon on Wood Street for a while now. It’s a busy spot. Most mornings start with coffee and a look at the paperwork piled up on the desks. We handle property and development stuff, mostly just keeping things moving. Sometimes the lift acts up, or the street noise gets loud during rush hour, but it’s home for us. People drop by asking about this or that project, and we do our best to give them a straight answer. It’s not always glamorous. There’s a lot of coordination with builders and checking on sites that takes up our afternoons. Our office isn’t particularly fancy, just functional. We have a few plants that someone remembers to water occasionally. Wood Street has changed quite a bit since we first set up here at number 21. More shops, more cars. We’ve seen neighbors come and go. Dealing with property in a place like this means there’s always something new happening. One day it’s a zoning question, the next it’s a site visit across town. We just keep at it, day in and day out. If you’re walking past, you might see us through the window or out getting lunch. We aren't trying to be the biggest outfit around, just a group of people working on developments. It’s honest work. The desks are a bit messy sometimes, but we know where everything is.
