Down on Ankali Road in Sankeshwar, you will find our place. We are right here in the Hukkeri Taluka area of Belgaum district. It’s a quiet enough spot most of the time, except for when the local market gets going. Our shop is filled with various machines and spare parts. Most people around here know us by name because we’ve been dealing with their home appliances for quite some time. When a fan stops working or a TV screen goes dark, they usually bring it over here. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at circuit boards. There is a small desk where we keep the accounts and a couple of chairs for people to sit while they wait. The floor is usually a bit cluttered with wires, but we know where everything is. It’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We see a lot of the same faces every week. It’s not a big corporate office with glass walls, just a solid building on a busy road where we get the work done. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and wait for it to come back. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to make sure everything that leaves the shop is actually working. That’s our day-to-day life here in Sankeshwar. L G Electronics has been on this road for as long as I can remember, and we just keep the doors open for whoever needs us. It's a simple living for us all here.
