Kumar Electrical Works

Kumar Electrical Works is located at B43 in Mamulpet, Murugeshpalya. If you come by, you will likely see a lot of wires, some old motors, and a few toolboxes lying around. The shop isn’t very big, but we use every inch of it. We started here because the rent was fair and there’s always someone needing a repair in this part of town. Our hands are usually greasy or dusty from taking things apart. We don’t wear suits or sit in fancy offices. Most of the time we are hunched over a workbench trying to figure out why something stopped spinning or glowing. It can be frustrating when a part is hard to find, but we usually figure it out eventually. The neighbors at Murugeshpalya are used to the noise of testing equipment. We keep a pot of tea going most afternoons. It’s just how we do things. No big corporate rules here, just a small shop where we fix what’s broken. We don't have a website or a marketing person. If people like what we do, they tell their neighbors, and that’s plenty for us. Sometimes we stay late if a job is urgent, but mostly we try to get home for dinner. The door at B43 stays open during the day so anyone can just poke their head in. It’s a simple life, working with our hands and keeping the lights on for others. We just do the work.
