Ksm Dye Work

We are located at number 7 on Akkipet Fort Road. Ksm Dye Work is a small shop, and we’ve been working with colors and fabrics for a long time. The area around Fort Road is quite old and has a lot of history, which we like. It’s a bit of a dusty street, and there’s always something going on outside, whether it’s a delivery truck blocking the way or people walking to the market. We spend our days mixing dyes and making sure the shades come out just right. It’s messy work, and our hands are usually stained by the end of the day, but it’s what we know how to do. We don't have a website or any fancy marketing. Most people just walk in because they saw our sign or heard about us from someone else in the textile trade. The shop isn't very large, so we have to stay organized with all the vats and tools we use. It can get pretty humid in here during the summer months, but we just keep the doors open and get on with it. We aren't a big factory; it's more of a traditional setup where we handle things manually. If you need something dyed, you just come by, tell us what you need, and we’ll see what we can do. It's tough on the back sometimes, but we enjoy seeing the finished fabrics.
