Karnataka Swimming Association

The Karnataka Swimming Association office is tucked away in the Kingston Arcade. We are on 29th Cross in Geetha Colony, which is part of the 4th Block. It is a busy area and finding parking on Kasturba Road is usually a bit of a headache for anyone coming to see us. The office itself is not very large, but we have enough space to handle the registrations and the paperwork for the various swimming events that happen across the state. We have stacks of files from different clubs and competition results dating back a long way. Some of us have been involved with the association for years, so we know the local swimming scene pretty well. It is mostly about keeping things organized and making sure the schedules for the meets are sorted out. People drop by quite often to ask about memberships or upcoming trials. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting at the desks dealing with administrative stuff. The arcade has a few other shops and businesses, so there is always some noise from the corridor. On hot days, the office can get a bit stuffy, but we just keep the fans going and keep working. It is not a glamorous job, but we are used to the routine. We usually close up in the evening after the last few visitors leave. It is just a regular office doing its part for the sport here in the city.
