Our spot is at No 202 on the 6th Cross in the JHBCS Layout, which is a section of the J P Nagar neighborhood. It’s a nice enough part of Bangalore, though the 560078 postal area is always growing and changing. We handle the financial side of things for the state, which mostly means dealing with loans and funding for all kinds of different projects. It’s a lot of numbers and endless paperwork, if we're being honest about it. The office itself isn't anything special to look at, just a regular workplace filled with desks and tall filing cabinets. We’ve been here for a long time and the staff knows the daily routine well. We don't spend any money on fancy rugs or modern art for the walls. We just focus on processing the various applications that come through our front door every day. The 6th Cross is usually manageable for drivers, but finding the exact house number can take a minute if you aren't familiar with how the layout is numbered. People come here when they need to talk about their financial standing or get updates on their state-backed programs. We don't use a lot of complicated jargon when we talk to folks who visit us. It’s just straightforward talk about money and the rules we have to follow. The atmosphere in the office is pretty steady. We get started early and usually have a stack of files waiting for us to review. It is just a group of people working together to keep the state’s financial commitments moving along.
