Johnsil Glass Works

Johnsil Glass Works is located at 42 Bethel, right near the CSI Church in Udayanagar. If you are around Bangalore 560016, you have probably walked past our door a few times. It’s a glass shop, so it usually has that specific smell of cutting and a bit of dust in the air. We’ve been at this spot for a good many years now. The shop itself isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It is just a practical space where we handle all the glass orders that come our way. Being near the church makes it very easy to give directions to people who haven't been here before. We mostly spend our time measuring things out and making sure the edges are ground down right. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from the morning until the sun goes down. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded with parked cars and delivery vans, but that is just how Udayanagar is these days. We aren't a big factory or a high-end showroom. It is just a few of us here making sure the glass is cut exactly the way it needs to be. We don't have a marketing team or a fancy website to show off. Most of the people who come in are neighbors or local builders who have known us for a long time. We have some old wooden chairs for when people need to wait, and the small tea stall nearby is where we usually go for our afternoon break. It is a simple life here at Bethel, just working with glass and keeping the shop running day by day.
