Jayalakshmi C

Jayalakshmi C is where I work and it’s located in Amruth Nagar. To be specific, the address is 1St Main, H M T Layout in Anand Nagar, building 343. It’s a bit of a journey to get here if you are coming from the center of the city, but it’s a nice area once you finally arrive. The HMT layout has a specific feel to it, very organized but still local and friendly. My space at 343 is pretty modest. I have a computer, a printer that sometimes jams at the worst times, and a lot of notebooks where I write things down because I don't trust the computer for everything. It’s just me here most of the time. I like the quiet because it lets me focus on the tasks I have for the day without too many interruptions. Sometimes children are playing on the 1st main road and you can hear them laughing, which is a nice break from the silence of the office. I’ve tried to make the office comfortable, but it’s still very much a place for work. There aren't any big posters or marketing stuff on the walls, just a simple calendar and maybe a map. I think people appreciate that it’s a real place run by a real person. Anand Nagar is a good community and being part of it at building 343 feels like the right fit for me and what I do.
