We are over here at Kumeru House in Nainad, which is part of the Bantwal area in Dakshina Kannada. It’s a quiet spot compared to the big cities, but we keep busy enough with the work. Jabil Circuit India Pvt Ltd has its roots here and we deal with the circuit boards and electronic stuff that people use every day. Living and working in Karnataka means we see a lot of rain and green trees around the office. It’s not a fancy corporate glass building. It’s more of a practical setup. My name is on the gate as Prakash, son of Thimmaya Shetty, so people around here know who to talk to if they need something. We’ve been here for a while now. Some days are slow and some are really packed with orders. We don't really do the whole big advertisement thing because most folks around Nainad already know what we do. We just get on with the assembly and checking parts. The commute isn't too bad if you are local. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the technical side of the circuits. It is basically a small team making sure everything runs okay. We don't have a big cafeteria or anything, just a place to sit and have tea. That’s how we like it though.
