Our firm, Intelectia Legal Firm, is in Langford Town in the Shukrawar Peth neighborhood of Pune. The address is 35 6. It is an older part of the town with narrow streets and a lot of character. We are a legal firm but we do not have one of those shiny offices you see in the movies. Instead we have rooms filled with old books and stacks of paper that reach almost to the ceiling. The wooden floorboards creak a little when you walk across the main room. We have some heavy desks that have been passed down through the years. It feels like a place where real work happens. We spend most of our hours researching and writing out long documents. It is usually quiet here except for the sound of the traffic outside or the occasional bird on the windowsill. We do not have a fancy reception area with a sofa. If you come by you will probably just find us sitting at our desks surrounded by files. We know the people in the shops nearby and we often stop for a quick chat when we are out getting coffee. It is a comfortable place to work and we have gotten used to the way everything is set up. We are just a local firm doing our thing in a quiet corner of Pune and we try to keep things simple and honest for everyone in the community who stops by to see us at the office.
