We are located on the 1st Floor of building 383, right in the 15th Main of Shantiniketan Layout. It’s in the Arekere area, just off Bannerghatta Road in Bangalore. If you’ve ever been on Bannerghatta Road, you know how the traffic can get, so being tucked back in the layout is a bit of a relief. Our office for Infosys Technologies Ltd is a simple space. We don’t have a lot of decorations or expensive furniture. It’s mostly just functional stuff that helps us get through the day. We have windows that look out onto the street, so we see the neighbors going about their lives while we work on our computers. The morning sun hits the front of the building quite hard, so we usually have the blinds half-closed until lunch. We have a small area where we make tea, and that’s usually where the best conversations happen. It isn't a high-pressure environment in the way people might think. We just have a list of things to do and we work through them steadily. The 560076 zip code has become very familiar to us over the years. We know the local shops and where to get the best lunch for a decent price. It’s just a regular group of people working together in a regular building. That’s really all there is to our story here. We just try to keep things moving along without much drama.
