Infosys Technologies Limited

We are located in G 19 of Block 10 within the Meenakshi Residency. Being on Bannerghatta Road in Arekere means we are right in the middle of everything in south Bangalore. Since it’s a residency, the office of Infosys Technologies Limited feels a bit like a home. We have neighbors living right above and beside us, so we have to be mindful of that. The commute along Bannerghatta Road is notoriously slow, so most of us try to start our day early or leave late to avoid the worst of the congestion. The apartment itself is quite spacious for an office, and we’ve converted the different rooms into workspaces for different teams. There is a small garden area nearby where some of us sit for ten minutes to get some fresh air. It’s a very practical arrangement. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist at a big desk. You just walk in and see people busy at their computers. We handle our own chores, like making sure the fridge has milk and the printer has paper. It’s a very hands-on kind of place to work. Sometimes the security guards at the gate ask a lot of questions, but they’ve gotten used to seeing our faces every morning. It’s just a solid, quiet place to get the job done without too many distractions or unnecessary corporate rules about how we sit.
