If you know Bangalore, you know how the traffic can get on Hosur Main Road. Our office is tucked away at House Number 75 in GB Pallaya, right in that 560068 area. It’s a bit of a trek to get here some days, but we’ve made it our home for Infosys Technolofies Ltd. People sometimes ask us about the name and that letter 'f' in there, but that's just how the paperwork went through and we haven't seen much reason to fix it. The building is just a regular house that we’ve turned into a workspace, so it feels more comfortable than a cold office building. We have a few rooms filled with equipment, and there’s always someone in the kitchen making tea or looking for snacks. It’s a bit messy sometimes, with cables running along the floor and stacks of papers on the desks, but we know where everything is. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive furniture because that’s not what we’re about. We just want a place where we can focus on the tech work without being bothered by the outside noise. The neighborhood is okay, and there are some good small eateries nearby for lunch. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to do right by the people who come to us. It’s a small team, and we all know each other well. We don’t have a big HR department or a bunch of rules, just an understanding that the work needs to be finished.
