Our office is located at 41 1st Main in the 2nd Stage of Atthiguppe, which is part of the Vijaya Nagar area. This part of Bangalore has a lot of trees, which makes the walk to work a bit better even when it’s hot. Infosys Bpo Ltd is tucked away on a side street, so it’s pretty quiet most of the time. We aren’t a big operation with thousands of people here; it’s a smaller, more focused group. We spend our time helping other businesses with their back-end tasks. This means a lot of checking documents and verifying information. The building is an older style, but it’s sturdy and keeps the noise out. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a few plants that someone remembers to water once in a while. We don't go in for fancy mission statements or corporate retreats. We just try to be reliable. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, but that’s just life in the city. The staff here is pretty friendly, and we often share snacks in the afternoon. It’s a good, simple workplace where everyone knows each other’s names.
