Indira Selections

We’ve been here at Indira Nagar No 330 in the HAL 3rd Stage area for a while now. Most people know us because we’re right on the street where everyone walks by in the evenings. It’s a small shop, Indira Selections, but we try to keep a good variety of things on the shelves so there is always something to look at. Sometimes the space gets a bit crowded when we get a new shipment of clothes in, but we just move the racks around to make it work. It’s mostly just us here every day, opening up in the morning and tidying up the displays. We spend a lot of time folding and refolding items because customers like to touch everything. The lighting in the back corner isn’t the brightest, but it’s cozy enough for picking out what you need. People from the neighborhood stop in to chat even if they aren't buying anything that day. We know many of the faces around here. It isn't a big fancy showroom with mirrors everywhere, just a regular place with piles of stock and some benches to sit on while you wait. We keep a ledger for everything and try to stay organized, though some days the paperwork piles up on the small desk near the door. It’s a busy life here in Bangalore, and we are just glad to be part of the local market scene day after day.
