Indian Oil Co Owned Petroleum Outlet

Our place is on the first floor of Shardamma, over in Bangalore. The address is 299, and we’re right in the middle of things here in Karnataka. This is an Indian Oil Co owned petroleum outlet, so there’s always something happening downstairs. If it’s not trucks coming in, it’s customers at the pumps. The office on the first floor is where we try to make sense of all the numbers at the end of the day. It’s not a fancy space at all. We have some old desks, a couple of computers that sometimes run slow, and a lot of logbooks stacked up. Bangalore traffic is famous, and it definitely affects how we work. Sometimes the deliveries are late, and we have to figure out the schedule on the fly. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We’re just the people who show up every day to make sure the fuel is there and the accounts are right. It gets noisy with the engines running outside, but that’s just part of the job we do. We have a small tea break in the afternoon which is usually the highlight of our day. The building is pretty standard for this area. We’ve been here for a good while and know the regular drivers who come through. It’s a straightforward business, no frills involved. We just keep the lights on and the pumps running for the people who need it.
