Independent Consultant

I work as an Independent Consultant out of apartment 504 on 8th Main in the 4th Block of Koramangala. The pin code is 560034, here in Bangalore. Koramangala is a pretty famous part of the city for businesses, but my place is just a regular spot where I can sit down and focus. I’ve been in this building for a while, and the 4th Block is a good place to be because everything you need is just a short walk away. My setup isn’t anything like those big tech offices you see nearby. It’s just a room with a desk and some shelves for my papers. I don't have a big sign outside or a lobby with a receptionist. It is just me doing my thing. I spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away at my computer, dealing with the different consulting projects that I take on. Sometimes the elevators in the building are a bit slow, or the street noise from 8th Main gets a little loud, but you get used to it. It’s a very human way to work, without all the corporate layers between me and the people I’m helping. I like being independent because I can just be myself and do the work the way I think is best. It’s not always pretty, and my desk is usually a mess of notes and pens, but I know exactly where everything is when I need it. It’s a practical, no-nonsense way to run a small business.
