Our office for Ibm is over on the first floor of building 21 along the 3rd Main Road. Amar Jyothi Layout is one of those places in Bangalore that feels a bit more tucked away from the main chaos, which is nice for us. It is easy enough to find once you get into the layout. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. It’s not a huge place, just a few rooms where we keep our equipment and desks. Usually, the morning starts with making some coffee and checking through the lists of things for the day. We aren't much for fancy decorations or those modern office layouts you see in the magazines. We just have what we need to get the job done. The windows look out onto the street, so we see people heading to work or the delivery guys going past all day. Bangalore weather is usually okay, but when it rains, the road outside gets a bit messy with puddles. Most of the folks working here for Ibm live nearby, so it’s a quick commute for them. We keep things pretty straightforward. There's a small area where we eat lunch together and chat about random things. It’s just a regular workspace where we focus on our daily tasks without much fuss. We don't really do big meetings, just quick talks across the desks to stay on track. It works for us and keeps the day moving along.
