Our office is in the Suritha Apartments, unit C2, over on Benson A Cross Road. Benson Town is one of those older, quieter parts of Bangalore that still has some of that old charm left. It’s a lot different from the newer parts of the city. Being at Ibm Global Services in an apartment building means things are a bit more relaxed and less formal. We don't have a giant neon sign or anything like that. It’s just 28 Benson A Cross Road, a place where we come to handle our daily tasks. The rooms are a bit smaller than a typical office floor, so we are all pretty close to each other while we work. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood, like birds or the occasional car passing by, which is better than constant traffic noise. We have a small kitchen area where we mostly just make tea and leave our lunch boxes. The furniture is a bit mismatched because we’ve added pieces over time as we needed them. It feels more like a workshop than a corporate headquarters, and we prefer it that way. We don't need to put on a show for anyone. We just focus on the work that needs to be finished. It’s a comfortable, low-key spot that suits the way we like to do things without any unnecessary drama. That is just how we operate.
