We have been operating from 135 Infantry Road for quite some time. It’s an old part of the city, and our building has that classic feel to it. We deal with people looking for jobs and companies looking for workers. It’s a lot of reading through resumes and talking to folks about what they want to do with their lives. Sometimes the office gets crowded with people waiting for interviews, and other days it’s just us filing papers. We have a lot of filing cabinets because we still like to keep physical copies of things. It’s not a high-tech setup with robots or fancy software; it’s mostly just us using our experience to figure out who fits where. The tea man comes by every morning, and that’s usually when we have our biggest discussions about the day’s tasks. We’ve seen the job market go up and down, but the basics of finding the right person for a role haven't changed much. We don't use a lot of buzzwords. If a person is good for a job, we tell the company. If they aren't, we don't. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it has kept us going here on Infantry Road. The traffic outside can be a nightmare, but we like being in the center of things where it’s easy for everyone to reach us by bus or train. We just take it one candidate at a time.
