We are based at BMP 15 on 1st Cross in Bangalore. It is in the 560043 area. The neighborhood around 1st Cross is pretty typical for this part of the city, with a lot of narrow streets and buildings tucked close together. Our place is not hard to find once you get onto the right cross street. It is a simple building, nothing fancy at all. We have been running the lab from here for a while now. The space inside is mostly taken up by workbenches and computers. We do not have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist greeting people at the door. Usually, whoever is closest to the entrance just looks up and helps out. The street outside can get quite noisy with the local traffic and people moving about, but once you are inside, it is quiet enough to get things done. We have a small corner where we keep the kettle and some biscuits for breaks. The 560043 area has its own rhythm, and we have just become part of it. Most of us take the bus or ride scooters to get here. When it rains, the street can get a bit muddy, but we are used to that. It is an honest place to work. We are not trying to impress anyone with the decor; we just need the space to handle the technology projects we have on our plate. It is a practical environment for a small team.
