Home Maker is tucked away in unit C1 708 at Lt South City in the Micol Ayout area, just off Banerghatta Road in Bangalore. Being in a residential complex like South City means things are a bit quieter for us than if we were right on the main road. We have been working from here for a while, and it really suits the way we like to do things. It is a bit of a maze to find us the first time you visit, but once you know the way, it is easy. We spend a lot of time on our computers and talking to people on the phone. Bangalore is such a busy city, so having this little corner to work from is actually quite nice for us. We do not have a storefront with big glass windows or anything like that. It is more of a practical office where we get the actual work done. Usually, it is just the sound of keyboards and the occasional delivery person coming by with a package. We keep things pretty informal around here. If someone needs to meet, we usually just sit around the main table and talk it through over a glass of water. It is not about looking fancy for us; it is about making sure the details are right. Living and working around Banerghatta Road means we are used to the pace, but we like our quiet spot.
