Hindu Priest In Prajwal Ashram

I work as a Hindu Priest at the Prajwal Ashram, which is located on Mission Road over by Marine Drive. It’s a quiet enough place considering how busy the rest of the area can get. People come here for all sorts of rituals and prayers. I spend most of my time at the ashram looking after the daily needs of the space and helping those who visit. Mission Road is a well-known spot, so finding us isn't too hard for most locals. The ashram is a simple building. There isn't much in the way of decoration, just what is needed for the ceremonies. I've been doing this for many years now. It’s more of a way of life than a regular job. I don't use any fancy flyers or advertisements to get people to come. They usually hear about the ashram from someone else or just walk in from Marine Drive. The sound of the waves is sometimes in the background if it's quiet enough. My days are filled with traditional duties and talking to people who are looking for a bit of peace or a specific puja. I don’t try to be anything more than a priest who knows the rituals. It’s a practical life, waking up early and making sure everything is ready for the day's visitors. There’s always something to clean or a small task to finish around the ashram. It’s just me and the work here, helping folks with their spiritual needs whenever they stop by for a visit. It keeps me going every day.
