Hartman Analytical Laboratory

If you head down to Jayanagar West 198, you’ll find Hartman Analytical Laboratory. It’s a quiet place for the most part because the work we do needs a bit of focus. We’ve got all the equipment set up in the back rooms where it’s cooler. Most of us have been working here for quite some time now, so we know the routine inside out. It’s not the most exciting place to look at from the street, just a plain door and some windows. Inside, there are lots of tubes, vials, and machines that hum all day long. We spend a lot of time looking at samples and writing down numbers in our logs. Sometimes the results take a bit longer than we’d like, but that’s just the nature of the work. You can’t really rush these things if you want them done right. We wear our white coats and keep the place as clean as possible, though the coffee corner is usually a bit of a mess. It’s a small team here. We know each other’s families and what everyone likes to eat for lunch. We don't really do much marketing. Usually, people just bring in what they need tested and we get to it. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. There is always a lot of washing up to do at the end of the shift.
