Mr. Harish A B runs this office over at Sri Nagar, in the Jeevan Kala building on Navghar Road. Being an advocate means there are always stacks of documents and law books cluttering up the desk and the shelves in the room. It is a quiet place for the most part, except when we have a few people in for a meeting or a consultation. We try to keep things orderly, but with so many different cases and papers coming in from the courts, it can get a bit messy on the busy days. The office at number 11 is where we spend most of our mornings before heading out for court dates or other appointments. We don't have any shiny decorations or expensive art on the walls to impress anyone. It’s just a place where we sit down to read through files and prepare whatever is needed for the next day. People from the Navghar Road area stop by when they have a legal question or need something signed for their personal business. We talk to them in plain English or the local language so everyone understands what is happening without any confusion. There’s no need for big words that just make things more complicated than they are. We just take the work as it comes and try to help out those who walk through the door. It is a small, honest practice that has been part of the neighborhood for quite some time now.
