We are over here on T B Road in Jayanagar West, right at number 371. The building has been here for a long time and you can tell by the way the front door sticks a bit when it rains. It’s mostly just us inside most days, working away at the desks. The neighborhood is usually busy with people walking to the market nearby, so there’s always some noise coming in from the street. We’ve got a few old filing cabinets that have seen better days and a ceiling fan that makes a steady clicking sound. It’s not fancy or anything like that. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and get to whatever needs doing. Sometimes the tea man from down the road stops by, and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon for anyone at Happenings. People around here know where we are because of the big tree right outside the entrance that drops leaves everywhere in the autumn. We don't really have a big sign, just the name on the door that's starting to fade a little. Inside, it smells a bit like old paper and the coffee someone forgot on their desk. We’ve been in this spot for quite some time now, and we’ve seen shops come and go on this stretch of Jayanagar. It stays pretty much the same for us though. We just keep the lights on and handle the daily stuff as it comes. Nothing too complicated about it.
