Hanumanthe Gowda S

If you ever find yourself wandering around Gandhi Nagar, you might stumble across us at Avenue Road Cross. My name is Hanumanthe Gowda S, and this has been my base of operations for a long time. This part of town is incredibly crowded, especially during the peak hours when the shops are all open and the street vendors are out on the pavement. Our space is tucked away just enough to escape the worst of the noise, but you can still hear the constant honking and shouting from the crossroad throughout the day. It’s a small place, filled with old folders and a few wooden desks that have seen better days. I’ve lived in this area most of my life, so I know almost everyone on the block and we always say hello. We don't have a website or any of those modern things that people use nowadays; most people just know we are here and they drop in when they need something. The stairs leading up to our floor are a bit steep and narrow, which keeps us fit, I suppose. There is an old ceiling fan that squeaks every time it rotates, but it works well enough to keep the air moving in the heat. On rainy days, the water tends to pool up near the entrance, so we have to be careful with the doorstep when we leave. It’s not a fancy corporate environment by any means. It is just a place where work gets done by people who appreciate a bit of routine and a familiar face.
