Grace Electricals

We have been running Grace Electricals on Airport Road in Austin Town for quite a few years now. It is a small place, maybe smaller than what people expect when they hear the name, but we have everything packed in here from floor to ceiling. Most days start around nine when the shutters go up and the dust from the road starts settling on the glass counters. Spending a lot of time just untangling wires or checking why a motor isn't humming the way it should is pretty common. It gets noisy with the traffic outside, especially in the evenings, but you get used to it. My hands are usually a bit dusty or greasy by lunch. People from around the neighborhood drop in for small things, like a fuse that blew out or just to ask which bulb lasts longer in the bathroom. No big fancy showroom exists here with bright lights everywhere. Instead, it is more of a workbench and shelves full of switches and conduit pipes. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit messy and we have to spend a whole Sunday just sorting through the bins of screws and wall plugs. It isn't anything fancy, just a regular shop where we try to get the job done so people can go home and have their lights working again. Knowing most of the faces that walk through the door helps. It is just the way things go here at number 581.
