Golden Furnishing

Golden Furnishing is right on the Kothnur Dinne Main Road, specifically at numbers 78 and 80 in the 7th Phase of Basavanagar. We have a decent-sized storefront, but the inside is mostly filled with rolls of fabric and stacks of cushions. It’s a family-run business. My brother and I are usually the ones here during the day. We don't have a big showroom with fancy displays. Instead, we just have samples hanging from the walls and piles of material that people can touch and feel. The light in the shop isn't the best, so we often take fabric out to the sidewalk to show customers how the color looks in the actual sun. It’s a busy road, so there’s always a bit of dust coming in, and we have to wipe down the counters pretty often. We do a lot of the stitching ourselves in the back room. You can hear the sewing machines humming through the curtain. We’ve been in Basavanagar for about ten years now. Most of our customers are folks living in the nearby apartments who need new curtains or want to fix up an old sofa. We don't use any high-pressure sales tactics. We just show what we have and let people decide. It’s a comfortable way to work. We know most of the people who walk by every day. It’s a good neighborhood to be in, and we plan on staying here for a long time.
