Gokul Engg Works

We are located up on the first floor in Peenya, right across from the Siddhivinayak Temple. It is a loud part of town because of all the industry around here, but the temple bells are a nice sound to have in the background. Our workshop is full of heavy machines and tools for engineering work. There is usually a smell of oil and metal in the air, and our hands are almost always dirty by noon. We do a lot of repairs and make parts for other businesses nearby. The space is a bit cramped because we have so much equipment packed in, but we know where every wrench and bolt is kept. The stairs are a bit narrow, so moving large pieces of metal up and down can be a real chore. We have a small desk in the corner where we keep our books and take our tea breaks. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People just come in, show us what’s broken, and we tell them if we can fix it. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our feet all day. We’ve been in this same spot for years and most of the other shop owners on the street are our friends. We just keep the machines running and handle the jobs as they come through the door.
